Philippine Gaming, Entertainment & Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR)

The Philippine Amusement and Games Corporation is a government-owned and controlled corporation established by Presidential Decree No. 1869 of 1977. PAGCOR is the largest contributor to government revenue in the Philippines after the National Revenue Service and the Department of Customs.

The following are the responsibilities of a PAGCOR license:

• Create an environment that drives the development of the Philippine gaming and entertainment industry.
• To be a responsible and active partner of the Philippine government in its nation-building plan.
• Establish and enforce a regulatory framework that protects the integrity of the Philippine gaming industry.
