6. Disable VPN or proxy

Android

For VPN:

1. Open Settings on your phone.
2. Go to Network & Internet.
3. Tap on VPN and toggle it off or select Forget VPN.

For proxy:

1. Open Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Long-press on your connected Wi-Fi network and tap Modify Network.
3. Scroll down and check if a proxy is set. If yes, choose None or Manual.

iOS

For VPN:

1. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
2. Toggle off any active VPN connections.

For proxy:

1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Tap on your connected Wi-Fi network, scroll to the bottom, and make sure HTTP Proxy is set to Off.

Proxies and VPNs can sometimes trigger security issues in apps like PhonePe. Certain VPN/Proxy IPs may be flagged. At the same time, accessing the app with an IP from a different country could also be problematic.
